Coastal Vending and Food Service, Inc. has been a family owned and operated business for over 50 years and it all began with Tom’s Foods back in May of 1953 with the company name of Don Davis Sales, owned and operated by Don Davis himself selling Tom’s Food Products out of the back of his truck.

Mr. Davis fathered and raised Donna Davis and at an early age began introducing her to the vending industry.  Donna met and married John Trego in May of 1976.  In October 1993 John and Donna Trego took controlling interest of Don Davis Sales and changed the name to Coastal Vending and Food Service, Inc.  They currently own and operate the company as it is today.  Through the years they have seen the vending industry grow to overwhelming success and continue to strive in making your vending needs a success as well.  We have become one of the largest independently owned food service and vending companies in the Charleston SC area.
 
In July of 2005 Coastal Vending and Food Service, Inc. partnered with The Compass Group, owners of the Canteen Corporation.  With this merger Coastal Vending and Food Service, Inc. became Coastal Canteen Vending and Food Service, Inc., making us part of the largest vending company in the world today.  When you combine local ownership and decision making with the programs and global strength of Canteen we offer the best of both worlds. This partnership continually redefines the vending experience with new quality initiatives and technologies that provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
